Oviedo Efficiency Group

The Oviedo Efficiency Group comprises a group of researchers working in the fields of efficiency and productivity analysis. The Group was created in 1997 by Prof. Antonio Álvarez, who leaded the Group until 2010 and put it on international standards. Since 1997, the Group organises a Permanent Seminar on Efficiency and Productivity, which takes place twice a month. The group has also created a working paper series, the Efficiency Series Papers. Apart from these regular activities, the group has had the honour of hosting the seventh and eighth editions of the European Workshop on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (EWEPA).The Group have also organised several Spanish Efficiency Workshops since 1998
